What is the New Cross + Deptford Free Film Festival?

• The annual New Cross & Deptford Free Film Festival (NXDfff) is part of a community of free film festivals, bringing people together to enjoy free cinema and celebrate their local neighbourhood. Formed in 2010, Free Film Festivals is entirely not-for-profit and run by volunteers. All film licences and equipment is funded by donations and fundraising by volunteers.

Dates.

• Submission Deadline: Friday 18 April 2025, 4pm

• Festival: Friday 25 April - Sunday 03 May 2025

• Short Film Showcase: Wednesday 30 April 2025, 7:30pm

How To Apply.

• Read the T&Cs below.

• Fill in the Diversity and Inclusion monitoring form using the red link below.

• Email the following information:
  - Name
  - Email
  - Film Title
  - Length (mins) Length
  - A short description of the film (up to 200 words)
  - Share a link to the short film you would like to show

• Email to luke@arthub.org.uk

Terms & Conditions.

• Applicants must fill in a Diversity & Inclusion Monitoring Form.

• You can share up to two film options with us.

• You must have the rights to show the film in public on the date above (proof may be required)

• Approx 15 mins length per film

• You must provide a compatible version (.MP4, .MOV) at a quality good enough to be projected using a laptop.
