Inspired by nature and geometry, Roli’s functional pieces are simple and elegant (letter openers, bookmarks, salad tongs) - they are finely finished, enhancing the grain of the wood.

His larger sculptural pieces are often based on spiral forms found in the natural world - goat horns, plants, shells.

This body of work celebrates those natural forms using wood and geometry to change and control nature with the aim of producing pieces which still have the essence of pure, natural simplicity and being attractive in their own right.
